Frequently Asked Questions

How does your consignment work?

Sugarlump follows a true consignment model; we accept items for consignment and when the item sells, both the consignor and store share the profit. Sugarlump provides two payment options: store credit (45% of sale price) and check payment (35% of sale price).

What sizes do you take?

Sugarlump accepts girls clothing sizes from newborn to 14/16 and boys clothing up to size 10/12. Occasionally, we will have larger sizes in boys if something really wonderful comes in and we can’t say no.

Do you take strollers or car seats?

Sadly, the store size of Sugarlump limits us to focus only on clothing. We cannot accept items such as strollers or furniture.

What brands do you take?

We pride ourselves on taking the highest quality brands. Our favorites include Hanna Andersson, Tea Collection, Mini Boden, Crewcuts, Petit Bateau, and Catimini.

Brands that we do not accept include Circo, Cherokee, Children’s Place, Old Navy, Cat & Jack, Carters, Vitamins baby, Gymboree, Disney, Jumping Beans, Wonder Kids, Oshkosh/Genuine Kids, Kid Connection, Healthtex, Koala Baby.

Do you buy clothes?

We do not buy clothes outright; we follow the consignment model of accepting items for sale and when items sell the consignor and Sugarlump share the profits.

Do you have Gift Certificates?

Yes! Gift Certificates may be purchased for any amount. They make great gifts and they don’t expire!

When is the construction on Madison ending?

Never! Just kidding, in will be done in 2024, but the Madison Rapid Ride project was definitely a part of why we decided to move to a new location.
